Students are expected to arrive to Orizaba (in the state of Veracruz) on July 13th. We will stay there during the first week, in host families. On July 21st, we travel to Oaxaca. The rectory of the University of the Gulf of Mexico is located in Orizaba.
Students can take a bus from Mexico City Benito Juarez International Airport directly to Orizaba (with bus company “ADO ”, located in Terminal 1). It is a four hour driving from Mexico City to Orizaba. You can also take a plane to Veracruz Airport, which is at a distance of approximately two hours driving from Orizaba.
On July 12th we arrive to our campus in Oaxaca, located in the state of Oaxaca at a distance of 300 kilometers of our rectory in Orizaba. As a summer project student, you will take your Spanish classes there, in comfortable classrooms. If you want to check your e-mail, work on the Internet or do your homework on the computer, you can make use of our computer room. The cafeteria will offer you drinks and snacks at any time of the day. At noon, you will have lunch on campus too. And at last, our garden will give you the possibility to play some sports or rest a little bit between classes and enjoy a nice chat with other students.
